![]() Nobody is playing the “delusional victim” by pointing out the technical issues we are facing. My save games does not work well after removing a few or all mods for some reason. I’m not sure what you meant when you said, “Think other players who support developers are spies from the game company.” Please, clarify that if you can. You make your own decisions about the mods you choose to play, and you let other players make their own decisions, ok?! With all due respect, I also do not think it is up to you to make any assessment about how many mods other players intend to use. I do have several mods, and they were all working very well. I also disagree with the statement that people are taking a risk by “heavily modding their games” for one very simple reason. Why can’t we point out issues that are affecting the game’s playability here if that is the purpose of this website? On that note, what was said is that mod compatibility should be considered along the way with any project that will affect gamers’ experiences. Is that asking too much? I do not think so. We do expect a smooth updating process, with or without mods. So no one is expecting promises, as you put it. We all know that computer hardware and software are all prone to glitches. Your understanding of my statements is extrapolative, to say the least.Īside from you, I don’t believe the dev team would take comments personally. Nobody has ever said that the development team is uncaring, let alone complained about them. I think if so many gamers are playing mods, they do have the right to expect that the game works properly after updates. That is funny reasoning! I disagree with your points. There is no strange logic here! Most comments here are made by users, such as gamers like you, so obviously you do not have to be an employee to express yourself here. I hope that is not the case, and if so, I hope it can be fixed. While the game was still running, I noticed you’d made a complete overhaul of the building menu, and a mod user is blaming that for mod compatibility issues. I started a new game just to test it, and it crashes. I just wanted to let you know that, until a few hours ago, my game was crashing even without mods or the use of a mod loader. It is the exact same save game since the beginning, so I really hope I did not waste my time building more than 40 very detailed cities to see all the efforts and dedication go away! Thank you! I don’t really intend to start a new game to continue playing ANNO after the last GU because I’ve been playing an old saved game for years. Please don´t take me wrong, but I think it should have been considered all along the way during the update process since it is clear that there are thousands and thousands of mod users just by observing the general number of mod downloads. I am a bit concerned because UBISOFT has not made any public announcements about a new update that would address the mod compatibility issue so far. ![]()
